Problem:
All plants with press equipment are obliged under CSA Safety Standard Z142-02 to upgrade the guarding and control systems on their presses to meet the new code.
The consequences of non-compliance are highly punitive.

Solution:
EFP has developed a compliance evaluation, which identifies areas of deficiency, and allows for the development of a comprehensive upgrade plan.  Following this plan, EFP refits the press including modifications to the guarding, electronic protection devices, (light curtains) and electronic controls.
A preliminary audit is conducted to ensure compliance.
