Problem:
Repositioning the circular rolling mill at Conrex was a difficult operation, using a warn-out ball screw system, resulting in guess work by the operator, and possible lack of precision. A mistake in positioning the mill could render the product (huge domes), scrap. Very expensive!

Solution:
EFP designed a new hydraulic positioning system, including cylinders which lock in place, ensuring the correct positioning and a two speed power unit, for greater ease of operation.

Result:
Worry free production, no scrap!
